REALTOR® Jana Rice

For the past ten years Jana (pronounced Janna) has been working in the real estate industry in mulitple ways. Jana has helped develop marketing and eBusiness strategies to assist in gaining attention for properties and leads for agents. Also, Jana has years of experience training agents on real estate technologies and instructing on best marketing homes and addressing the leads on those properties.

In addition to real estate school, Jana has a Bachelors of Science in Mass Communications from Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University) and a Minor in Photography. This means that you will have excellent listing photos of your property. This is very important as photos are the first thing that grab the attention of potential buyers.

Jana, who owns both a primary home and rental property, can often be heard saying, "Real estate is the best investment an American can make. She recommends choosing a home with payments that don't exceed 30% of total income.

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

  • Loyalty to clients;
  • Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
  • Cooperation with competitors;
  • Truthfulness in statements and advertising;
  • and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry.

On a personal note, Jana is a St. Louis native and a graduate of Eureka High School. She is also an animal lover and often donates time and monies to animal based charities.
